Google SSL
Google is in beta with an SSL version of search. Another way of ensuring some privacy online in an age where privacy is becoming scarcer and scarcer (Facebook, anyone?). If I were a blogger or a journalist in a nation where the free dissemination of information is illegal (say, China, North Korea, Iran, etc.), I'd use the SSL version tunneled through Tor. No such thing as bullet proof privacy but every little bit helps..

ECN
I was amazed at how little ECN traffic I see on a network I'm responsible for. One packet in a fifteen minute period?
Wondering if that's the normal experience for others.. is ECN really that under-utilized?
Anyone else look at this? Oooh... there went another. TWO now. Both SMTP based, which makes sense.. busy mail server, timely delivery and all that..
